Refund Policy

Refunds for Tutoring

To cancel or reschedule any upcoming lessons, please contact your tutor directly, providing at least 24 hours' notice to avoid charges.

Next, notify My Tutor Studio by emailing us at: Support@MyTutorStudio.com.

If students or parents decide to cancel the packages, please see the policy below.

Prepaid High Dosage Tutoring Package Students ($35/class)

Any unused balance will be refunded, minus the full price of 1 hour of tutoring to cover administration fees for any running month already paid (if not notified before 7 days of the upcoming scheduled session).

For example:
Sarah purchased a Prepaid High Dosage Tutoring Package for $280. She used 1 hour and has 7 unused hours. Sarah wishes to terminate tutoring and obtain a refund and the next class is in less than or equal to 7 days.

My Tutor Studio will revise the current package as follows:

Charge $35: 1 hour used x $35/hr ( regular hourly price)

Charge $35: Termination penalty equivalent to 1 hour ($35) for administrative and cancellation costs.

Refund $210: Prepaid High Dosage Tutoring Package purchased for $280 - ($35) - $35 = $210


Prepaid Low Dosage Tutoring Package Students ($40/class)

Any unused balance will be refunded, minus the full price of 1 hour of tutoring to cover administration fees for any running month already paid (if not notified before 7 days of the upcoming scheduled session),)

For example:

Sarah purchased a Prepaid Low Dosage Tutoring Package for $160. She used 1 hour and has 3 unused hours. Sarah wishes to terminate tutoring and obtain a refund.

My Tutor Studio will revise the current package as follows:

Charge $40: 1 hour used x $40/hr ( regular hourly price)

Charge $40: Termination penalty equivalent to 1 hour ($40) for administrative costs

Refund $80: Prepaid High Dosage Tutoring Package purchased for $160 - ($80) - $80 = $80

Refunds will be processed at the end of our current fortnightly billing cycle and may take 5-10 business days to reach your account.

If there is not enough credit remaining to cover the termination penalty, no refund will be given.


If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank, as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at
